For Students

In Buffalo State's environmental programs, students get a broad base in the various natural science disciplines that compose environmental science as well as a solid foundation in the ethical, economic, philosophical, and historical foundations of environmental studies and the sustainability movement. They will be flexible, capable of both communicating and learning across a number of disciplines, and have strongly developed problem solving and quantitative method skills. Students will explore the dynamics of diverse forces that shape urban ecosystems and will gain a general understanding of issues across a spectrum of disciplines.
